Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and self-sufficient Deck Leader to manage all deck operations onboard. You’ll lead lifting, rigging, and sea fastening tasks, supervise crew, and ensure a safe and clean deck environment.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead all project-related lifting operations
✅ Review and generate lift plans & permits with HSE
✅ Act as dedicated banksman during lifts
✅ Oversee sea fastening of containers, trenchers & deck gear
✅ Maintain rigging/slinging gear and quarantine unfit items
✅ Track certification, manage inventory, and reorder gear
✅ Assist trencher crew with maintenance and heavy part handling
✅ Support fueling ops, chain prep, and sword configuration
Team Collaboration
Vessel ABs – Crane ops & deck support
Welder/Rigger – Mutual support in rigging tasks
HSE Team – Lift plans, safety walks, permits
Trencher Team – Maintenance & lifting coordination
