Deck Leader – for a Trenching Support Vessel

Join a major offshore contractor on a cutting-edge vessel operating specifically for trenching operations.
About the Role: As Deck Leader, you’ll play a key hands-on role in all deck operations. You’ll be responsible for lifting, rigging, and sea fastening of project equipment, supervising deck crew, and ensuring safety and cleanliness on deck. This is a self-sufficient, all-around position with close collaboration across vessel teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all project-related lifts: lift plans, permits, rigging, and banksman duties
Oversee sea fastening of trencher, containers, and deck equipment
Maintain rigging gear: inventory, certification, and condition checks
Support trencher maintenance: lift point inspections, heavy part handling, fuel refills
Collaborate with ABs, Welder/Rigger, HSE, and Trencher Team
You’ll be working with:
ABs for crane ops
Welder/Rigger for rigging support
HSE for lift plans and safety walks
Trencher Team for maintenance and lifting ops
Location: Baltic Sea, EU
