Chief Officer to join a tugboat on a rotational basis

We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a tugboat on a rotational basis.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in towing, anchor handling, and vessel maneuvering, ensuring safe and efficient offshore operations.

Assignment Details:
Location: United Kingdom
Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off
Flag: Netherlands

Responsibilities:
Supervise deck operations and manage the crew on board.
Plan and execute towing, anchor handling, and maneuvering activities.
Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and maritime regulations.
Oversee vessel maintenance and daily operational routines.
Support the Master with navigation, voyage planning, and operational decisions.
Lead emergency response efforts and participate actively in safety drills.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chief Officer on tugboats or similar vessels.
Strong knowledge of towing, anchor handling, and vessel maneuvering.
Valid STCW certifications and relevant maritime licenses.
Thorough understanding of maritime safety regulations and international standards.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Proficient in English communication.
UK visa not needed.
