Electrician to join our client's semi-submersible crane vessel in the UK waters

Atlas NextWave are seeking an Electrician to join our client’s semi-submersible crane vessel in the UK waters, starting on the 19th of August for 5 weeks duration. This is a junior-level role and would suit candidates at the early stages of their offshore electrical career.

Job description
Due to the location of the vessel within 12 nautical miles, the candidates must be UK citizens or hold a UK Frontier Worker Permit.

Main duties:

Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical installations and automation systems on board our crane vessels
Support senior specialists in resolving complex electrical malfunctions
Participate in periodic testing, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
Collaborate closely with the technical and marine departments to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations
Certification required:

BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
STCW Certificate of Proficiency Security Awareness
Confined Space Entry Module
STCW Seafarer Medical
OEUK Medical
Shoulder Measurement
Vocational or Maritime School Bachelor’s Degree with a minor in Ship Electronics, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
