Able Seaman / Deck Rating | Offshore Vessel | Namibia / International

I’m currently supporting a leading international offshore contractor with the appointment of an experienced Able Seaman / Deck Rating for an offshore vessel assignment.

This is a vessel-based role supporting navigational watchkeeping, deck operations and general seamanship duties on an international offshore project.

Previous experience on offshore vessels, floaters, MODUs, DP vessels or similar marine environments would be highly advantageous.

Role details:
• Location: Namibia / International
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months, renewable
• Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
• Working hours: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week
• Accommodation: onboard
• Flights and insurances: provided

The ideal profile will include:
• STCW Navigational Watch Rating / Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch certification
• Able Seafarer Deck certification preferred
• valid seaman’s book / CDC
• valid STCW safety training
• valid offshore medical
• previous offshore vessel experience
• availability for short-notice mobilisation
