SECOND ENGINEER – LNG DUAL-FUEL CHEMICAL / PRODUCT TANKER

Atlas Next Wave is urgently looking for an experienced Second Engineer to join an LNG dual-fuel IMO II Chemical/Product Tanker.

Start Date: Approx. 26 June 2026
Term: 6 weeks

Requirements:

Certificate of Competency – Second Engineer Unlimited
• STCW Regulation III/2
Basic STCW Certificates:
• Personal Survival Techniques (STCW A-VI/1-1)
• Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (STCW A-VI/1-2)
• Elementary First Aid (STCW A-VI/1-3)
• Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (STCW A-VI/1-4)
✔ Advanced Fire Fighting (STCW A-VI/3)
✔ Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1)
✔ Security Awareness or Designated Security Duties
• STCW A-VI/6
✔ Valid STCW Seafarer Medical Certificate
✔ LNG / IGF Code Certification:
• Basic Training for Service on Ships Subject to the IGF Code (STCW V/3)
• Advanced Training for Service on Ships Subject to the IGF Code (STCW V/3) preferred
✔ Previous tanker and LNG dual-fuel experience preferred
