AB to join a unique Research and Exploration Vessel operating worldwide

at OffshoreCrew AS Norway (Anywhere)

We need an experienced and versatile AB to join a unique Research and Exploration Vessel operating worldwide.

This is not a traditional AB position. The vessel supports a wide range of subsea, research and exploration activities, offering an exciting opportunity for seafarers who enjoy technical challenges, varied tasks and working with advanced marine technology.

Start Date

From August onwards

Rotation

During shipyard periods: 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off
Once the vessel enters full operations at sea: 12 weeks on / 6 weeks off (2:1 rotation)

Requirements
Valid AB Certificate
Valid Navigational Watch Rating Certificate
Good English communication skills
STCW safety courses
Previous offshore and cruise experience

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Subsea operations
ROV and AUV operations
Deployment and retrieval of subsea equipment
Moonpool operations and maintenance
Welding and fabrication work
Trawling systems and fishing operations
Support for diving activities
Crane operations
Powerboat handling
Yachtmaster qualification or experience operating small vessels
