Deck Engineers to join a cable lay project in the Netherlands.

We are looking for two profiles:

Deck Engineer – Hydraulic / Mechanical
Deck Engineer – Electrical

Location: Zeeland, Netherlands
Vessel Type: Cable Lay Barge
Start: ASAP / flexible
Nationality: EU nationals or candidates holding a valid Dutch work permit
Local candidates are preferred, but other qualified candidates will also be considered.

What we are looking for:

Strong hands-on technical background
Able to troubleshoot and perform fault finding independently
Able to supervise and guide personnel during repairs
Experience working with equipment onboard barges or similar projects
Comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment
Practical and creative approach to keeping equipment operational

Certificates / Documents:

Valid passport / EU nationality or Dutch work permit
A1 certificate where applicable
VCA / SCC / MIST / IOSH / CSCS or equivalent
STCW Basic Safety, BOSIET/FOET, or GWO Sea Survival + First Aid + Fire Awareness
Boat Transfer / Landing Training
Valid Offshore or Seafarers Medical
Working at Heights
