Chief Mate vacancy onboard Pipelay Barge

We are looking for candidates to cover a Chief Officer position onboard Pipelay vessel operating in Caspian Sea with one of our well-known clients.

Position: -Chief mate

12 Months rolling-renewable contract, 35/35 rotations starting ASAP (please only apply if you are available with short notice). Salary information available at our office + various insurances.

Requirements:

•Must have:
-3+ years’ experience as Chief Mate onboard an offshore pipelay vessel with 8-point mooring system

-Capability to supervise and coordinate the deployment, operation, and maintenance of the vessel’s 8-point spread mooring system.

-Ensure the symmetrical arrangement of anchors around the barge to maintain absolute structural stability and precise station-keeping against omnidirectional environmental forces (wind and currents) as well as heavy-load pipeline tension during continuous pipelay operations.

-Proven experience managing and directing Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels during complex anchor deployment, retrieval, and shifting operations.

-Must possess the ability to supervise and coordinate local marine personnel

-Chief Mate COC, DPO, STCW short courses, BOSIET/Offshore certs
-Very Good English language level

•Nice to have: -Experience in Caspian area -Ukraine and/or Russian language
