URGENT | CHIEF OFFICER – OFFSHORE PIPELAY VESSEL | AZERBAIJAN

We are looking for an experienced Chief Mate to join an offshore pipelay vessel equipped with an 8-point mooring system.
This is a high-responsibility offshore position for a senior marine professional with proven experience in pipelay operations, anchor handling and 8-point mooring systems.
THE ROLE
Position: Chief Mate
Vessel: Offshore Pipelay Vessel – PLBH
Location: Currently Azerbaijan
Start: ASAP – immediate availability
Rotation: 35 DAYS ON / 35 DAYS OFF

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
3+ YEARS AS CHIEF MATE ON AN OFFSHORE PIPELAY VESSEL WITH AN 8-POINT MOORING SYSTEM
You should have solid, hands-on experience with:
8-point spread mooring operations
Anchor deployment, retrieval & shifting
Directing and coordinating AHTS vessels
Maintaining safe station keeping during continuous pipelay operations
Managing anchor patterns and vessel stability under environmental forces and pipeline tension
Supervising marine crews and local personnel
Working in demanding offshore marine environments
A BIG PLUS:
Caspian Sea / Azerbaijan experience
Russian language
Ukrainian language
