Deck watchkeeping officer, reporting to the Master. You will keep navigation and cargo watches and maintain life-saving and fire-fighting equipment, in line with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and ISPS.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year as Third Officer on oil/chemical tankers
• Valid STCW II/1 CoC, Advanced Oil Tanker (V/1-1), Advanced Chemical Tanker (V/1-1) and all required certificates

Characteristics & skills:

• Navigation watchkeeping with ECDIS and ARPA
• Cargo watch during loading and discharging
• Tank atmosphere and gas monitoring
• Nitrogen padding and IG system basics
• LSA and FFA maintenance
• Mooring and anchoring operations
• GMDSS communication
