URGENT!!! Chief Engineer needed for new PSV takeover in China. Join OSM Thome and bring your expertise to a dynamic offshore team.
Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer onboard a modern PSV operating offshore China. Lead the engine department, ensure safe and efficient vessel operations, and keep all machinery in top condition. This role is ideal for a hands-on, safety-focused engineer with solid offshore experience.

Terms and Conditions:

350 USD / day but it can be negotiated with the right candidate.
6 months contract duration, but can be negotiated with the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all engine room and technical operations
Plan and carry out maintenance and repairs on main and auxiliary machinery
Monitor fuel, lube oil and spare parts consumption and ordering
Ensure compliance with company, flag state and class requirements
Lead and train engine room crew, ensuring safe working practices
Maintain engine room logs, records and reports.

Requirements:
Valid Chief Engineer (Unlimited) CoC.
Previous experience as C/E on PSV or similar offshore vessels.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, auxiliaries and vessel systems.
Good command of English, spoken and written.
Valid offshore and medical certificates as per industry standards .
Proactive, safety-minded and able to work in a multinational crew.
