WE ARE HIRING | CHIEF MATE and OOW NAVIGATIONAL WATCH (2/O)

Location: Azerbaijan | Pipe-Laying Barge (PLBH)
Start: ASAP
Rotation: 35 days on / 35 days off
Chief Mate (C/O)Minimum 3 years’ experience as Chief Mate on an offshore pipelay vessel with an 8-point mooring system.
Valid STCW II/2 CoC and required offshore certifications.
Proven ability to supervise and maintain the 8-point spread mooring system and coordinate local marine personnel.
Experience managing and directing AHTS vessels during complex anchor deployment, retrieval and shifting operations.
Expertise in ensuring symmetrical anchor arrangements, barge stability and precise station-keeping under environmental forces and pipeline tension.

OOW Navigational Watch (2/O)Minimum 3 years’ OOW experience in offshore Oil ; Gas construction.
Valid STCW II/1 CoC and required STCW/OPITO certifications.
Experience on offshore pipelay vessels with an 8-point mooring system.
Ability to maintain safe navigational watches and support safe vessel operations.

Requirements for both positions:

Strong leadership and offshore experience.
Good command of English.
Caspian Sea experience is an advantage.
Ukrainian and/or Russian language skills are desirable.
