Senior deck officer and second in command, reporting to the Master. You will lead cargo operations, stability and deck maintenance in line with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and ISPS.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.9 years sea time as Chief Officer on oil/chemical tankers
• Valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate CoC, Advanced Oil Tanker (V/1-1), Advanced Chemical Tanker (V/1-1) and all required certificates

Characteristics & skills:

• Cargo planning, loading and discharging
• Framo/deepwell cargo pump operations
• IG system and COW procedures
• Tank cleaning and gas-freeing
• Nitrogen generator and padding operations
• Stability, stress and trim calculations
• SIRE/CDI inspection preparation
• Deck crew supervision and PMS

Candidate must have previous Chief Officer experience on the same vessel type with a similar deadweight.
