Senior engine officer, reporting to the Chief Engineer. You will manage daily engine room maintenance and lead the engine crew, in line with SOLAS, MARPOL and ISM.

Requirements:

• At least 2 contracts as Second Engineer on crude oil tankers
• Wärtsilä RT-flex main engine experience required
• Valid STCW III/2 CoC, Advanced Oil Tanker (V/1-1) and all required certificates
• Willing to sail through HRA areas
• SOH Bonuses:
• FUJAIRAH (2 BASIC SALARIES + IBF)
• SOHAR (2 BASIC SALARIES _+IBF)
• DUQM (2 BASIC SALARIES + IBF)
• GOA (3 BASIC SALARIES + IBF)
• SoH: 2.5 full wages transit in – 2.5 full wages transit out

Characteristics & skills:

• Wärtsilä RT-flex common rail systems
• Main engine overhauls and maintenance
• Cargo pump turbines and auxiliary boilers
• Inert gas plant operation and maintenance
• Diesel generators, purifiers and compressors
• PMS planning and spare parts control
• Engine crew supervision and safe work

Candidate must have previous Chief Officer experience on the same vessel type with a similar deadweight.
