Senior engine officer, reporting to the Chief Engineer. You will manage daily engine room maintenance and lead the engine crew, in line with SOLAS, MARPOL and ISM.

Requirements:

• At least 2 contracts as Second Engineer on oil/chemical tankers
• MAN B&W ME-C main engine experience required
• Valid STCW III/2 CoC, Advanced Oil Tanker (V/1-1), Advanced Chemical Tanker (V/1-1) and all required certificates
• Willing to sail through HRA areas

Characteristics & skills:

• MAN B&W ME-C engine control systems
• Main engine overhauls and maintenance
• Framo/deepwell cargo pump hydraulics
• IG system and nitrogen generator
• Auxiliary boilers and diesel generators
• Purifiers, compressors and OWS
• PMS planning and spare parts control
• Engine crew supervision and safe work

High-Risk Area Bonuses
The vessel may trade in high-risk areas. These bonuses apply:

Fujairah: 2 basic salaries + IBF
Sohar: 2 basic salaries + IBF
Duqm: 2 basic salaries + IBF
Gulf of Aden: 3 basic salaries + IBF
