Senior deck officer and second in command, reporting to the Master. You will lead LNG cargo operations, stability and deck maintenance in line with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and ISPS.

Requirements:

• At least 4 contracts as Chief Officer on LNG carriers
• Valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate CoC, Advanced Liquefied Gas Tanker (V/1-2) and all required certificates

Characteristics & skills:

• IGC Code and LNG cargo handling
• Membrane cargo containment systems
• HD/LD cargo compressors and BOG handling
• Gassing-up, cool-down and warm-up
• Custody transfer and cargo calculations
• ESD systems and ship-shore link
• Stability and stress calculations
• Deck crew supervision and PMS
